RS Integrated Supply Ltd – M&A Integration

RS Components (Now RS Group) recently acquired two successful Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) businesses to expand its global reach and product offering across Europe and the America’s.  Whilst operating within the same industry, the 2 legacy organisations had very different cultures, systems and processes.  The challenge was to integrate the businesses at pace to realise the synergies set out at acquisition. These synergies primarily centred around increased revenue targets and increased operating profit. Leading the programme, and working with the President and Senior Leadership Team, Breeze Consulting swiftly implemented a proportionate project management methodology to deliver the synergies at pace, via an aligned programme of works. Within an 8 month period, integration was achieved and a programme of follow on transformation activities was set out for the leadership team to take forward, utilising the project management disciplines that they had now become accustomed to.

Dignity PLC – Transformation Programme – Target Operating Model Definition and Implementation

Dignity, a leading chain of funeral directors in the UK, embarked on a transformation programme with an ambition to become a more efficient and relevant, forward thinking bereavement organisation.  Breeze Consulting managed the Funeral Operations element of the programme, from strategy refinement, to Target Operating Model definition, to phased implementation.  Benefits were centred around cost efficiencies and increased revenue generation. The organisation was and still is a highly compassionate organisation, therefore, the challenge was to maintain and enhance the service levels whilst creating a sustainable cost efficient business model.

"Provided visibility around achieving success and
progress towards it, make the organisation smarter,
gave the board assurance that the strategic
plan was being addressed and delivered.’
